MTD Kingston Z5

It is been some time since I have posted. I do enjoy reading the forums. I do have a question regarding the MTD in question. I love the feel of the bass. Has a great neck and overall tone. The issue I am having is a few dead spots on the fretboard, 2nd string. Basically drops from G# to A#. I have changed strings to no avail. Thought about swapping the original Barts for some Nordy's. Possibly even swapping the bridge. Has any else experienced this?

I think if you reach out to the MTD shop, they may have some pointers for you. Nobody knows an MTD like the guys that designed it, and I've found them very responsive, respectful to work with.

Check to make sure your bridge is tightly screwed to the body and that the body/neck screws are similarly tight.
