Hey, I don't think it's right say that any bassist has no talent. That's just dumb. If you want to voice your dislikes of Ryknow, voice them in other places than here. :) Don't forget that Wooten owns you. :) Compared to him, everyone's talent gets looked down upon (well.. not really everyone.. but us normal bassists). So go post your useless posts trying to put down a fellow bassist in another place b/c they are unwanted here. :) Have a nice day, Sir.

I'm getting tired of "hoppusdisciple". Is anyone else? Did you form a cult or some **** like that to worship him like a damn diety? He is NOT the most talented(well his bass lines his songs arent), he may be your favorite, which is good, but I re-iterate, he is not the most talented. Look up some bassists like Wooten and Jaco if you wan't good bassists, or if you want some good metal bassists, check out Ryknow(I know this thread is about him) or Robin Graves. I've vented enough now.

hoppusdisciple is just plugging his favorite bassist.
however, saying that he has more talent than someone (ryknow) who, in the general public's opinion, has more talent than hoppus, is stepping out of bounds.
just because he is your favorite bassist does not automatically make him the greatest talent wise.

in my opinion, hoppus is barely even a bassist. he's not that good.

anyone ever heard of chris squire?

I got twenty bucks says hoppusdisciple is actually Mark Hoppus himself trying to expand his fanbase...Well I'm onto you Hoppus! Its so sad that he had to badmouth other bassists just to elevate himself. We should pity him...:D

O god. I even LIKE blink, and that guy gets on the nerve. he does that alot. I mean, i dont think bad about mark hoppus, and do realize that there are more bassists than jaco and wooten, but to say that hes better than Ryknow (Or P-Nut, as hes once said.) is truly pathetic. I think hes some dude just screwing with everyone in an attempt to seem funny.
