+1 to K&M - I got the one w the acoustic slot and keep my most expensive bass (Dingwall) there for peace of mind, since it's much harder to accidentally knock something

Had the Hercules equivalent before and it was much less sturdy, padding moved around, etc - the K&M is a tank in comparison, so I left the Hercules in the band jam space

Also, I'm in the US, but it was way cheaper to get the stand (+ casters) from Thomann vs Sweetwater, even after shipping

I bought my K&M stand from a local music store here in Helsinki, they happened to have it in stock. I do buy stuff also from Thomann, too.
