Double Bass Music for DB, Cello and 2 Violas

I'm trying to find music written for low string quartet: Two violas, cello and double bass. Ideally a Duke Ellington piece. I suppose I could transpose an existing string quartet, but I'm short on time. Need ASAP. Any ideas? Thanks!

It's a sure bet that Ellington didn't write for this combination. There's a quartet by Jeffrey Cotton, "Quartet for Low Strings" that was premiered by St. Luke's in NYC. I don't think it's published. You might contact John Feeney and see if he remembers the piece and where the music is. There is more written for a standard low quartet; violin, viola, cello and bass.

Thanks for the lead. The first violist also plays violin so maybe we will go that route.
