For your consideration: A fantastic (and sadly rare) Sabre Classic. The OG 2-pickup MM bass, it is somewhat more subdued than a HH Stingray, but smooth as butter (and far less 'aggro' than an 18-volt, 3-band HH). A little over 9 lbs on the bathroom scale. The 2-band EQ kills on this bass.
