Yes. I've played a sunburst and a natural with RW.
The only one that doesn't really turn me on, is the blue.
If it makes you feel any better Music Man made them like this for 2 years prior to Ernie Ball ownership. I have an '83. They mixed and matched headstocks, pups, and electronics during most of the Sabre run. I didn't even know Ernie Ball made them at all in the later 80's until I read TalkBass. So you can comfortably refer to it still as a pre-EB reissueagreed, its got kind of an 80's vibe going, in a good way. the non-exposed pole piece look makes it more of an 80's reissue than a pre-EB reissue.
