Music Man Sabre

I'm getting a Music Man Sabre for about 450$, with 21 frets and maple fret board, BUT A SINGLE HUMBUCKER, wanted to know, is it genuine because all the youtube videos and google images show that the sabre had 2 humbuckers. I want a good Low sound with the capacity to go all out on Mids and highs too !

Sounds like you are getting a StingRay with a Sabre neck bolted onto the body.
The necks are typically interchangable from the same era. I've seen several Sabre bodies over the years with StingRay necks on them. Unless someone made a custom pickguard and covered up the front pickup hole.
But to answer your main question, the Sabre only came with two pickups.

Will it be a good deal then ? because it seems the stingrays sound pretty good !

I bought a Sabre back in '98 for $400, from GC. The pickups and bridge were gone, because some employee took them off the bass. The bass had been converted to a single pickup, judging from the single ply pickguard that was on it when I got it. Anyway, I found all the missing parts and it was a great bass, one of the best I've ever owned. Anyway, it's possible someone just converted the bass rather than switched bodies. Either way, if the parts are Musicman, it's worth buying.

Looking at the pickguard, it's almost without-a-doubt an OLP.

Look at the screws at the bottom of the pickguard right under the humbucker
Normally on a Stingray it has three down there, pretty close to the humbucker.
On an OLP it only has one.

I'm not Musicman expert but something seems off about the neck too.

If it were me? I wouldn't go for it. I'm almost positive it's an OLP body.
OLP's are good, the actives (double bucker) much better than the passives, but the passives are not worth 450$ used market value.

OLPs are nice... but not worth $450.
Nothing about those pictures look MusicMan. Nothing.
If it plays and sounds nice, I'd offer $150-200 tops.

It is NOT a Sabre, it is NOT a MusicMan. I have seen Sabre decals on eBay, I think that's what this is.

Rule number 1: if it looks too good to be true, it is not real.

It is NOT an OLP pickguard. They are more flattened at the bottom. But you can get pickguards in a lot of places.
