Music Man tone?????

Nice playing, ...typical Musicman alnico sweetspot bridge paralel pickup tone, ...but the same result is possible with flat EQ and just rise up gain on the preamp, or recording unit You use! ;)

Maxing all tone knobs is the way I don't prefer as sound engineer, ..but OK Your choice! :hmm:

It sounds great and that some nice playing!

Is there something you don't like about the tone?

Well, ...actually, ...as long as sounds good, everything is OK! ;)

Just sayin' ...about that maxing tone control bass preamp knobs, ...it's not technically right, when You do that, You actually only rise up overall volume with two barely noticeable non wide scoops between bass/middle and middle/treble frequencies...etc.
So, ...maxing all 3 tone controls practically don't change original flat tone of pickup/bass, just rise volume and add unnecessary noise of active filters, that's the main problem! Another problem is increase of battery power loss, so as possible reaching of upper voltage bandwidth of preamp, that means possible slight distortion in the output signal! ;)

But, ...as I wrote above, ..as long as sounds good for Ya... just play Your way! :bassist:

P.S. ...Sorry for possible bad English (my non native) ...but electronic guys will understand what I'm talkin' 'bout!
