Music Man vs G&L

$600 for a US L-2500 is unreal. I see Tribs selling for $400 t0 $500 (just sold my L-2500 Trib for $500).

USA's fall in the $700 to $900 range. I bought mine new. Foolish, yes, but I wanted what I wanted. I'll have it for a long time, so in a few years I'll forget about the extra I paid.

Not so unreal. My used L-2500 fretless USA cost me $600 at the local GC. Of course my Trib cost me $600 new ($400 + trade in of Aria Pro II that had $200 worth of EMG pickups and electronics). And I don't think that GC is the bass bargain center of the universe.

But you have to keep your eyes open and act quick. I"m sure if I had waited just one day that fretless baby would have been gone! There are LOTS of people out there who know a bargain besides me!

I stand corrected. After a bit of research I see that this is a JB and they do not make a JB tribute. I wonder what that thing is going to actually sell for??? I know G&L's don't do well used, but that would be ridiculous.

Maybe the new(er) models have something the older ones don't. Dunno? :hmm:

There should be no difference, since that model is only a couple of years old.

That bass had a Buy Now price of $800 when I posted it. Somebody should have jumped on that thing.
