I am on the hunt to get a little more technology going here and look for some ways to get more done in less time. Please bear with me as I'm not even real sure of what I even need. So I'm trying to figure out my needs as I think about this.
What software/apps are available for better organizing music, from the actual song recordings/library/player, to the lyric/chord charts, sheet music, being able to auto transpose for someone on the fly......... and use on more than one device.
Let me state more to what I do and my primary or secondary needs.
I am the music director for a praise band and I often find myself running through and figuring out multiple parts for some of the players that are less experienced. From guitar parts, to keyboard parts, transposing, harmony vocals, guitar solos etc.......
Also it is not that unusual to gig on the fly in different settings from country, to bojie woojie, funk, classic rock, or just whatever comes up that pays and is fun. So I could use some assistance in this area for just myself with keeping stuff handy to keep me familiar with songs/charts/words to organizing large song lists, set lists etc........
I'm also up for a new phone in May and was thinking about what I can get that I can use on my Laptop/PC and Phone. I was maybe even looking at the Galaxy Mega because its bigger screen.
Again let me state I'm not really even sure what I'm looking for or what questions to ask. Any assistance will be most appreciated. Thank you all.
