Musical "Dirty Words"

Mmmm. . . I think that each musician/person lives in a different "music world."

I personally don't mind any of the terms you mentioned, if done well and in the right context, except "Pay to Play."

But randomly, in my music world, I frown when I hear or see:

-Double bass drums, or double pedals,
-More than 3 cymbals on a drum set (besides the hi-hat),
-Whammy bars,
-Standard MIDI tracks,
-Excessive reverb, on anything,
-Tight black jeans and black concert t-shirts,
-Anything that has to do with flutes,
-Yamaha DX-7s, and FM synthesis in general,
-Light beer.

Drunk came up to me, "do you guys play classicAL music." Me, "no thats a little beyond us and we are a rock band." Drunk, "so you don't play any zep or van halen?".......................me, "O, you mean classic rock," mumbles something about beer leading to retardation.
