Musicians Buy.com Good or Bad?

Their customer service is terrible in my experience. I bought an amp from them never got tracking info. The new amp failed after 6 days, And it took forever to Get a call tag issued for Fedex to pick it up . That was monday, Still waiting for them to come get it. they will not order the replacement until FedEx has the broken one. Is this normal? Should I just get my money back and deal with someone else?

Guitar Center owns Musicians buy, Musiciansfriend, Music 123, WWBW, ...
It's surprising that they have different quality of customer support.
They would really have something if they allowed you to buy online, but return to a local GC if it didn't work out.

Guitar center does not own Musicians friend anymore they Now own Music123 but are not affiliated with Musicians friend in any way since Guitar center was bought out.

Really? When did that happen? I went into GC a few weeks ago to buy a pedal that was $10 cheaper on MusiciansFriend. I told them it was cheaper there and the cashier said all those prices would be matched since they owned it.

I believe That GC was sold last summer and that they are now affiliated with Music 123 instead. That is what the manager of the local GC told me anyway. If it was a salespuke I would have been skeptical but it was the manager I figured he might have a clue(who knows maybe not).

Guitar Center still owns Musicians Friend and Music123, but they do NOT own MusiciansBuy. Guitar Center itself got acquired by Bain Capital a couple of months ago, but I haven't heard of any major changes since then.
