Is the micro plus louder? The micro is so quiet even cranked. My old vox am plug is way louder but I need the bluetooth

Anything else worth it?

If the impedance of your headphones are high the amp will sound quieter as the resistance of the headphones is higher. Fender recommends phones at or around 16-32ohms but you should be able to use ones as high as 80. Brand, published ratings (if any) and cost notwithstanding.
