Are there any mustard yellow basses in existence?
I'm entertaining ideas for a refin, I'd love to see some pictures if anyone has any.

BTW - there's a Bass Kisekae site, which is nice for testing color combos. It only has a Jazz Bass shape, but it might be helpful.

I think it's a great color - basically "TV Yellow" and it looks classic/retro to me.

I used to own this sweetheart:

    I like turtles.
Can you be more specific on the type of mustard that you are looking for? English? American? Dijon? Wholegrain? Brown?

    Obviously he wants whole grain.

In fact, I might just go smear my bass with a bunch of that stuff....

That Fender I posted is pretty darn close to the Alleva in color. Of course it is semi opaque, but the color is pretty much "there".

  17. it sure is - plus the butterscotch blonde still has a bit of the wood grain which trumps a solid color in my book . . .

this was my bass with just a quick coat of honey yellow to see if I liked the color on it or not.

The color is staying for sure.:)
