BTW - there's a [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] site, which is nice for testing color combos. It only has a Jazz Bass shape, but it might be helpful.

Oh, and some of the Fender "Butterscotch" colored basses are "mustard-ish" -

That Fender I posted is pretty darn close to the Alleva in color. Of course it is semi opaque, but the color is pretty much "there".
it sure is - plus the butterscotch blonde still has a bit of the wood grain which trumps a solid color in my book . . .
this was my bass with just a quick coat of honey yellow to see if I liked the color on it or not.
