Hey everyone,

I don't like the extra feedback i get when playing, i read somewhere something about muting the strings I'm not playing?

How do i go about that? When i tried it, it interfered with the notes i was playing.

Sorry if its a silly question, I'm newer to playing in general

Thanks for the help!

It is hard to tell you what you need to correct without seeing what you are doing. The same with your slap questions as well, without being able to asses the problem it is hard to give you advice on correcting it.

if you are playing with a pick, try and rest the right side of your hand across the strings, lifting up on the strings you are picking. Works similarly if using fingers, except you can mute with your second plucking finger when plucking with the other one.

It's all practice practice practice. It just comes naturally after a while.
