MXR Bass Compressor output issue

My MXR Bass Compressor powers up fine, shows changes in responsiveness on the LED meter when I play, but going to the amp, it's almost inaudible. Clicking the switch to turn it off and the bypass works fine too.

Anyone run into this or have thoughts on what might be the issue. This is an "always on" pedal for me and has been for almost two years now. I'm hoping this is a simple (or cheap) fix.

I'd email MXR. I had some problems with mine and their customer service team were very responsive.

I had one a while ago and the input jack broke. They aren't built super well tbh.
