MXR Bass Octave or Micro POG?

Hello esteemed fellows of TalkBass,

Whist digging through me Xmas loot I have come across some gift vouchers for my favorite music store (www.andertons.co.uk) I am currently on the market for a Octave pedal and am torn between the MXR Bass Octave and the Micro POG. Which would you choose?

they are totally different octaver... the bod cannot do octave up, the micro pog can.

the micro pog is digital vs bod analog,
which means
micro pog have better tracking than bod
the bod have synthier sound that is associated with analog octave pedal

I agree, both very different pedals. I like the sound of them both and although I love the POG.....To my ear the BOD would sit better in a mix. Also in some of the videos I've seen the POG seems to loose a smidge of low end.

The EHX POG if you want octave up.
The MXR BOD for pretty much everything else.

The POG's octave down sound is a bit tame in my opinion, no bite. You can get close to that smoother sound with the BOD too, plus a range of other sounds.

micropog for octave up. i'm pretty sure the micro pog is didital. if so, it should track really well and work competently with most basses.

bass octave deluxe has two octaves belows and is the most organic sound octave for it's size. best track for an analog pedal.
