MXR octave mids frequency in FOH

Any sound guys out there?

i play in a pop rock band, using a P bass and MXX brass octave deluxe. In my amp and when playing solo I prefer the mid boost on the octave at the higher 850 hz setting but would the lower 400 hz boost be better in FOHI? Which one would allow the bass to cut through the mix better. Which would the sound guy prefer?

I really wouldn't worry about that at all and just use whichever setting your prefer for the tone you want.
