MXR87 comp powering question...

Hi, forgive my ignorance, but I'm new in pedal territory...
I have a Fuel Tank Chamaleon and I want to get a MXR compressor.
Could I power it with the T rex? the MXR need a 9 V AC...and the Chamaleon is only 9/12/18 Dc or 12 AC.
