My Ampeg B-15S

Looks like between 71 and 74, made by Ampeg while they were owned by Selmer. They're very hard to date by the serial number alone, but by looking at the speaker code and the code of the pots, you can get an idea. The B-15S is a slightly higher powered version of the B-15N, with 60w of RMS power and a solid state rectifier instead of the tube rec in the B-15N. Great amp, dude!

I have one here in MA with Magnavox tubes in it also and they still sound good. Great sounding amps but make an SVT seem like a lightweight. Mine has white rocker switches and no polarity switch making it a later 70's amp. I would say early to mid 70's is about right. Those are original tubes. Mine is also rated at 60 WRMS but they are rated conservatively like all old Ampegs were and mine's pretty loud. Make sure you have the switch set to 8 ohms for one cab. Those are not real common either, I'd hold on to it.
