If this cat crap doesn't die soon, i'll quit the Internet.

Hey you've been here longer than most of us Lindfield, so I guess when it was just you and paul mulling over DBs it was all cosy.

When I first came to TB in the late 90s - it was Paul's "Hobby" site and was mostly Double Bass players - as Paul plays Double Bass in a Symphony Orchestra...:)

I was looking for help with playing Jazz and this was a great resource where you could actually talk to people who knew about the kind of music I wanted to play!

Well... at the time threads like this were very funny in an ironic way - but now they are just nostalgia for a time when TB was smaller and all the members knew each other - rather than just being one of thousands...:eyebrow:

Who is Bruce Lindfield? Probably one of those grumpy abacus restoration geezers with a carburator'd vehicle that likes both bacon and the phrase "You Keeds...GET off my lawn!!"

:hiding:

Well, whilst nowhere near you on the scale of ancient-ness, I have been here a fair bit myself, almost seven years now if I'm not mistaken. And even I must have missed 'those' good old days of which you speak. By the time I got here it was [DEL]DigMe[/DEL] Qintar, farting and pollybass.

The good times were about 97-99...?
