When I first came to TB in the late 90s - it was Paul's "Hobby" site and was mostly Double Bass players - as Paul plays Double Bass in a Symphony Orchestra...

I was looking for help with playing Jazz and this was a great resource where you could actually talk to people who knew about the kind of music I wanted to play!
