My Audio Drivers crapped out on me

luckily, I used Windows "roll back" feature, and it works again....that was really scary, as, my recording methodology relies on my laptop

Just in case, I have a supply of cassette tapes...just in case something really bad happens.

I installed a Delta 1010 LT card in my Windows machine a couple years ago. The only driver I have gotten to work is the ancient one that came on the CD with the card. I can download and install new drivers from the M-Audio site, but the computer doesn't recognize them. My brother has had similar problems installing new Mac drivers for his Audiophile 192 card.

I'm praying for that one day, when messing with drivers becomes a thing of the past.

I remember when I had to go to the system shell to install computer hardware...I dread every time I have to go back to that screen
