MY BACK!!

... . I find that it is the way things are made, it can be difficult lifting a 410 cabinet because you can't get as close to it as you may need to. Bulk plays into this a 40lb bulky cabinet can be just as hard if not harder to lift as a 80lb cabinet that you can get a good grip on. ...

+1 on that part, it's the reason I ordered a second Carvin BRX10.2NEO (shouldn't have put the other one on storage.) Darn combo I use for one-offs is lighter than a weight plate but bulky enough to make me walk funny when trying to balance the load with the other stuff. That can tear your spine in half, regardless of your strength.

I would definitely do the hand truck thing if you're having problems with that kind of load, although I do agree with an earlier post - it's prbably just muscle soreness from using muscles you don't normally use. But yeah, get a hand truck / help / take multiple trips. Anything to save your back.

I'm 31, well built, physically fit and my upper back is screwed. From playing bass. Not lifting things, just standing up with a bass on a strap for 20 years. It sucks.

MTFU

Yeah hahahaha advice from MTFU.org

Quit your bitching, bleating, moaning and whining.

Quit dribbling about how the world treats you bad, or about how your girlfriend dumped you, or about how you didn't get that payrise or promotion or win that deal.

Quit sniffling and making excuses and looking for a scapegoat when you know that you're to blame. You're soft.

Toughen up.

Quit blaming others and start taking responsibility for yourself. In short ...
"MTFU"

(and do it quickly)

Seriously....you going to have to do it in a few runs.

25lbs is no weight at all even for an amp.... and 40lbs is a light cab.

If you are having problems at your age with weights like that..well, there is something hugely wrong.

Why make it harder that it has to be with both tucked under one arm....?

?????????????????????????????????????? I really don't get this... this is a wind-up, right..?
