I prefer to think of it as "playing against the grain".
I’m not a fretlesser… yet, but I got a rob Allen 30” fretless, and got the bug enough to NEED a bordwell as well.
The latest... just needs the preamp and the setup.
Looks great. I didn't know Nordstrand did the Big Blademan in a soapbar format.
Yep. I would have preferred the MM format, but these will still hopefully get me what I need, regardless. It's the only way they will do it for a six.
Very excited. It was easy to forget about it for most of the year-and-a-half but when you're down to a few weeks, it gets a lot of thinking time.

Got some bad news from Cliff last night. The Nordy preamp isn't working, has to be sent back! Gahh!

Got another pic from Cliff. Nordstrand already fixed the preamp and is shipping it back, so he says it'll still go out on the 27th!
