my custom designed pickguard/faceplate for gretsch g22o2 bass

also my lovely dots.....

anyway got my new gretsch short scale cheapie...and went to town on a new look.......so far it's just paper and cut up malwart placemats.........but it's gettin there......

A few things here. One, you might find it beneficial to read the posting rules in the FAQ.

Two, if you're going to put your pics up on a public forum for comment, don't get bent out of shape when some people don't react the way you want.

I like the front, and I Iike the checkerboard, but I don't like them together at all, they fight each other for attention and don't relate to each other thematically or aesthetically, IMO.

The front design has a great early 20th century modern art vibe to it without copying any particular artist. Very cool
