My First Bass Head!!!

Heya peoples of the TB world! I need your opinion on which bass head and cab to buy.:confused:Im looking at the 300w range and have narrowed it down to a few.Im giving my choices cos Ive a limited selection to choose from.

My choices for heads were:
GK Backline 600 head
Ashdown MAG 300H
Behringer Ultrabass BX 4500 H
Warwick ProFet 3.2
Hartke HA 2500 Head

And for cabs I was thinkin the Behringer BB210 or the rockson range (music stores brand).

Any opinions/alternatives/ideas please let me know!any and all comments are welcome.:help::help:Cheers!!!!!

Dude, a little advice...take Behringer off your list. It's garbage. Sorry to you Behringer owners, but it is. Behringer is what you buy if you absolutely can't afford anything else. Any of those other choices would be fine choices. If it were me, I'd probably go with Ashdown and pair it up with a Dr. Bass or Avatar cab. You really want to spend as much as you can afford on an amp/speaker. You can play any old piece of crap bass through a good amp and it will sound awesome (my main player right now cost me $110 new), but a great bass through a piece of crap amp will sound like a piece of crap.

600 euro should get you way better of an amp/speaker system than you're looking at, unless I've got the exchange rate wrong (isn't it one Euro to every 50 US dollars?). If you play metal in bands, though, you may want to consider more speakerage, like maybe a 4-10" or a 2-10" and a 1-15".

I've a profet 5.1 the bigger brother of the 3.2 and am very happy with the sound Im getting from it. So for my list it would be
1. warwick profet 3.2
2. Ashdown mag 300
3. GK backline
4. Hartke HA2500

with the behringer removed for being a terrible amp

You may want to consider the peavey tour 450 if its not out of your range
