Never seen anything quite like that mute/bridge setup, interesting!
I think that finish looks really great. I’m also curious about that mute built on what appears to be a bicycle wheel quick release. Looks like a clever design.

Great finish and I am a big fan of painted to match headstocks too.
I was at first very lost what all that "machinery" was at the bridge but now I understand the mute assembly is separate from the bridge so it makes sense.

dang, my first bass was a old early 90s Yamaha beater! Beautiful bass, and that mute stop is definitely cool!
