Hey guys, this is my first post so be gentle.
Basically been playing on and off now for 5 years just started to get more serious in the last 2 and think its time for an upgrade. Looking at spending about £400 in total for a bass and amp (roughly $800) not gigging at the moment but playing with guitarist so need abit of meat. I really love this bass its a limited edition Ibanez SRX08 (£250)

but i cant find a review for it anywhere. And as far as amps go im open to suggestions, was thinking around 80 - 100 watt.
Listen (and play along) to alot of bands like queens of the stoneage and rage but i kno im not going to get that sort of sound for this sorta money, but stiil love the tones Nick Olivieri and Tim Commerford get they are probably my 2 favourate bassists.
