My first question :)

Hello peolpe.
My Bass (Ibanez BTB - 6string), stopped sending signal to my amp. The cables been checked, no problem there.
I wonder what are the possible causes besides my amp and the cable (the bass is pretty new).
Tnx :)

IF you have checked the battery - develop a process of problem elimination by find some method to check your amp (another amplified instrument known to be working, etc). If the amp is fine then you will be presented with the issue of whether you want to open the bass up and look for electric circuit issues or bring it to someone. Realistically it's not that difficult, however if the bass is new you should bring it back to where you bought it from. If the bass was bought privately and you DO want to hunt for electronic problems you should purchase an inexpensive muti-meter (DIMM; low cost...$10) and first look at continuity and physical wiring problems. Cold solider connections frequently will shut down a circuit.
