My GC score

I went to my local GC the other day to look for a replacement for my bass that I am trading. I went to GC to A/B USA vs. MIM P-basses. I grabbed a Butterscotch USA P off of the wall to check it out. It felt and played great! I flipped the tag to see how much it was and it was only $699. I talked to the manager and he said it was coded some code to just get rid of it. I asked what the best deal they could do on it was. I told him I don't need a case. He said the price w/out the case was $599 and even then they would only be making like $30 on it, so he said he would give it to me for cost. $606 out the door for a Rosewood, Butterscotch USA Standard P-bass, brand-spankin' new!:hyper:

Anyway it's on hold waiting for me to get off work and go pick it up, so no pic's yet. Hopefully I'll be able to put it down for long enough to snap a few shots and post them later.

Here's a pic from MF for reference: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/document?cpd=0OEY&doc_id=99371&base_pid=515118&index=1

I'll help you out w/a pic. Great Deal! I predict you will form a lasting relationship with this bass.:hyper:

Congratu-freakin-lations!!!

Excellent bass, great deal. You'll be very happy. I will have my own GC steal to talk about in about a week or so, you can't beat the deals you can get there. Makes it worth dealing with all the pre-pubescent guitars who try, and fail, to play Enter Sandman as loud as they can.
