My GK is Backordered!!

Resurrecting an older thread....has anyone had any similiar experiences since the first posted thread date?? I'm going through the same thing at the moment.
I'm trying keep it together as much as possible. Having only half of new gear that you order is not cool. Gotta say, it's frustrating as hell. I ordered a Gallien Krueger MB800 head and a Gallien Krueger 410mbe bass cab from Musicians Friend. The head they had in stock and I received it in no time. The cab, on the other hand was on backorder and the date just keeps getting pushed back, daily. Everyday, same routine....current estimated ship date is June 6, 2012. I called and talked to a MF Rep, and I do understand that it's out of their control, they placed the orders and they're waiting on GK to come through and fill them. So, Bob, someone, anyone please shed some light on my situation.....would love to have this amp up and runnning asap, as my band is a loud one with 2 guitars pushing through good gear............i need to hear me too!!

The 410MBE is discontinued, that may account for the delay. Just start looking at other sellers like GC or SA.

thanks for responding guys, seems rmc audio is out of stock on the cab too. I'll email Brian and see what comes of it. The price I got is $449 at MF minus 15% coupon, so I was hoping to save some ca$h on this one, but I'm starting to think screw the savings, I need my gear now. I think I best be shopping around for a merchant that has one available for the same orig cost at MF....
