Just wanted to say "hi" to the talkbass community. Glad to be here.
You'll probably see me asking for advice on purchasing a new bass guitar, because I'm not trying to shoot for a bass with a much better sound and much more comfortable. At the moment I use a Fender Squier which I switched out the pickups with a 62' Fender Precision set. Sounds better, and I still use it, but that's been more than a year ago.
I'm not into gigs or anything, but I want to play, and play well. So far I just play the music I love: Rock, metal, and my favorite band to play to is Tool. But since I can't go out and buy a Wal MkII I'm looking for a good middle man. I'd like to get a Bongo because I dig it's design, but no sellers around have em in stock, and I want to actually get it in my hands. Part of the reason I want to move on from my Squier is that it's a lil heavy, and I think there may be more comfortable basses out there.
Anyways, that's me for now, again, glad to be here.
Do anyone even read these?
