My Latest Project: Behold the "Rickenberger" :D

Question on the amazing paint job that Marty Bell did: is that straight up the silver-to-gold over a white or black or gray base, then clearcoated, or was there coloring of the base or clearcoat to get that green tint?
I believe he does a white primer then the gold/silver flip-flop. I think the green comes from the two hues interacting. Think blue (silver) + yellow (gold) = green. I was actually floored when I saw predominant green. Luckily, I love green and the results!
