MY NEW BASS

Congratulations. I tried one in a store a few years back and the tone was absolutely marvellous.

I love mine! Put D'Addario Chromes on it and a some foam under the bridge and it's thump city. One thing I notice is that you have pay attention to the low end onstage- sometimes unwanted low end feedback can occur. Never a bad issue, but it has happened to me on gigs.

Just picked up this badboy today the epiphone Jack casady Bass.I always wanted this bass ever since 2007

I had one for a little while and totally loved it. Had to trade it in because it was too heavy for my middle aged shoulder. I was heartbroken until I found the short-scale Lakland Skyline, which I play with flatwounds. Amazing tone in a lightweight bass. I fell in love with it the first time I played it.
Enjoy the Jack Cassady!!!

Beautiful and congrats.
I've long been considering one of these - any one I've heard has sounded great - which is my primary concern with Gibson-style basses ... but another is that freakin bridge. I cannot understand for the life of me why it's still in use. I had a Woody and replaced it with a Hipshot - but still, that's another $100 + for a fix that good engineering should have dealt with long ago.

I've had a JCB as my #1 for a while, and I love 'em! Sounds great, super versatile, looks great, and I sling it low like my T-Bird and it's a comfort to play.
Never had any issues with the three-point bridge myself, and I prefer it to any of the other options (Hipshot or Babicz), as I find they don't work well on the arched top without some kind of Rube Goldberg solution...
