My bass arrived today
Its just to replace my last bass a sort of warwick copy by the same brand that had started to decompose thru maltreatment probably, it was a bit of a beater. so i figured cant be bothered buying spare parts, fitting them, setting it up. So i bought another cheapo bass to replace it. its got decent wilkinson hardware, which im familiar with on the guitar that i made. there are a few corners cut in the manufacture of it. theres a dark, slightly mucky, bit on the top of the neck thats due to poor sanding if that area which i may touch up with a bit of sandpaper, but over all its a really good for the money i think id be hard press to find a similar j-bass as good for the cash in the uk, it sounds decent through my amp, though its a really ****** laney linebacker thats almost dead. overall im pleased with it. oh the rosewood could do with a bit of all, though the picture really makes it look more grey than it is.
