About a year and half ago I asked Devon if he'd ever consider a singlecut design and he was very busy at the time and wasn't ready to tackle it. I ran into him in December of last year and we started talking about a 2nd Devon bass for me and he showed me his drawings for the SC. I liked it alot so I told him to go ahead and build it. I picked it up on Friday and it's a beauty.

Tone is Fat with a wonderful growl and a really nice tight slap tone too. It's an extrememly playable bass and balances well either on my lap or a strap. I've played it through a big Aguilar amp and cab as well as an SWR with a Hartke cab. Both rigs sounded super. Here are a couple of pics.

Yeah, I like Devon designs. I've been thinking about running up to Pewaukee and paying him a visit. The single-cut is beautiful! How much did that set you back? PM me if you dont wanna say here. Nice bass and I know he builds seven strings too.:) How does she sound? What are the specs?

I almost love it...if the lower horn flared out just a bit more and the singlecut bout had just tiny bit more of an outward curve at the corner....but as it is it is still an innovate take on the singlecut design and has a really great look to it- congrats!
