Well we were out on a little 2 week tour, so we checked out a few music stores while we were in winnipeg. I have been in the market for a really nice 5 string to replace the peavey 5 that I was borrowing. So I traded my stingray 4 in plus some cash for this puppy. I haven't played my ray in about 5 months, I think I am just more comfortable on a 5 now. So anyway, here are the pics. I used it last night so she needs to be wiped a bit, but here it is!

Thanks, I love the clarity of this bass, and the fanned fret system is very cool and comfortable to play.
Congrats! Please, go down to your local auto parts store and get some Micro-Fiber cloths and wipe that bad boy down before you put it to bed next time. They don't scratch, they are lint-free and besides drying off sweat they also clean the surface lightly and safely. Your bass will thank you!

So how difficult was the transition to fanned frets? and what do you think of the 37" scale. Also looks like your on your way to adding some Mojo to the bass.

The transition was non existant. I just sat down and played it. Like they say, just close your eyes because your hands know where to go. The 37" b is great, very clear.

Yeah and I just played at buds on broadway last week too, I knew his shop was in saskatoon, but I didn't know it was next door! I would have liked to have seen it!
