My New GL jazz

ok I've just recieved my new fender GL jazz.. about two hours ago.

I bought it new from musicstore... strange thing is that the serial number is S061260.. when I checked this out.. all S+6 digits are 1994/1995?? this doesn't seem to make sense...

what I am wondering is does the first 0 actually have any significance.. or is this a 12 year old instrument?

Would be kind of difficult to own a 12 year old Geddy Lee jazz because they haven't been out that long. S06 probably denotes the Signature line and 06 the year of manufacture.....

thanks.. also is it just me.. or is the action on the GL stock very rattly?

Depends on what you mean by rattly. Maybe string height adjustment is too low?

yup.. thats what I'm thinking.. just a bit , but then again.. geddy plays at that height I think.. with lots or that rattle

Mine starts with CO9XXX. What does that mean?
