Double Bass my new Micro 300

So my Euphonic Audio Micro 300 needed to be repaired. I don't know much about amps, electronics etc. But i figured I might have been something simple. So I wrote Gary and asked him if anyone in town (I live in Denver), could take a look and fix it for me. he siad I had to send it back but that it would be a very quick process.
Anyway, I was super bummed, because I havent' used anything else since I got this amp.
I love my Eden WT 550, and I love my Ampeg SVT-4, but even the Eden which only weights 14 pounds seems like huge now! My Micro 300 weights two and half pounds and delivers 300 watts! And thebest is that you can turn it up as much as you want and you will hear no distortion at all!
Also it has two channels, which is something that I have been waiting on a bass amp since the 80's.
Now I can play electric bass and upright bass on the same gig and it has never been easier. I normaly would bring a preamp for the upright and then a blender to switch from both basses, and now I got an amp that has 300 watts and it's the same size as the actual preamp or the blender. It fits in any of my bass bags!
Also it's really easy to bring with me when I travel. generaly they have GKs, and or SWR's when I go out of town, and I end up telling them that I am going to use my own head. It's super clean anyway and a lot of times if we are playing with an orchestra there is no room for mistakes, and It's safer to just use the best an quieter equipment. ( no fans and just dead quiet all around).
My amp was under warranty but I was just real bummed and actually didn't bring both basses to my gigs for two weeks. The thought of having to deal with all that equipment, and getting a sound, getting levels, and there is always a compromise when you have to use two instruments anyway.
Well, I guess I was bugging Gary a little bit, just becasue I wanted my amp back soon! He was very busy, because they are in the middle of poduction, and the he was like. You know what/ I don't have time to deal with your amp right now, so I am just gonna send you a new one!
I had heard that Euphonic Audio was very reliable, honest, professional, and all kinds of good things, and now that I've had a personal experience with these guys i have a total new level of respect for their work.
Kudos to Euphonic Audio.

EA's customer service is first rate!!! I am still amazed by how good my basses sound through my Micro 300, Wizzy 10 and Schroeder Mini 10+ L!!!

A Groove is a Terrible Thing to Waste!

So as it turns out, I just have not been lucky with my Micro 300. I think that I've had to send it back 3 times already and now it's going to be the 4th time!!!
I just got it back today, and as soon as I plugged my bass in something inside smoked and once again it stopped working.
I love the amp, and the customer care is great, I haven't heard anything bad at all about the amp but I guess I just got a lemon...
my chords are fine, power is fine, I am very careful with the amp, I have a very nice paded case for it, I did go through a lot of trouble shooting, but nothing adds up. I have 4 other amps, including, GK, Eden, Ampeg, SWR and even a Peavey that are over 10 years old, and they never had a problem!
Man, I hope we get this right now, because I really like the Micro but I haven't being able to use it in weeks now because it has been in and out of the shop!
