East wall of the main room is nearly insulated. I still need to catch the skinny bays on either end and the one created by the partition wall.
Looks like the in-laws are coming into town soon and we have some friends staying with us next weekend, so that's going to slow studio progress for a bit. I'm still optimistic that I can get this all wrapped up in short order, but it probably won't be over the weekend like I'd planned.

Arrrrgh! A cliff-hanger! I can't believe I am this invested in this project.
I'm very happy that people have been so invested. It's been a good motivator. There have seriously been a few times where I needed to delay something and thought "Dang, now I'm going to have to explain myself to the folks on TB."
Just got a text from my wife saying that her parents might be delaying their trip until October. That will free me up to keep working over the weekend. There may be hope for a conclusion to the insulation process this weekend yet... Stay tuned!
Although... it's currently about 90 here in Seattle, which is positively boiling for us. That's keeping me to working in the evenings when it's cooled off a tiny bit. Limited hours, but the work is going fast.

There were many nights when I was doing my room, I'd make a large post on here get all sorts of encouragement and thoughts. At the same time I'd go upstairs and tell me wife some boring detail like I calked all the seams on the first layer of rock (which took a long time) and I'd get a response like, "great while you have your shoes on can you take out the garbage". Or I'd take the kids down to show them what I did, they'd say " Can we go up now".
It's nice to have others to geek out with on this stuff...
Just waiting for the sun to move further west so I can get back to insulating. It'll be mercilessly hot regardless, but the savings of a few degrees is keeping me in my nice cool house for the moment.
Funny... My wife and I did exactly the same thing!It was a good day to stay inside. I am an unrepentant Seattle heat weenie so I stayed in and cleaned the house. I don't envy you at all having go out to a hot box to install insulation....

Hot boxing that space would sure make the insulation install a lot more fun
Not for me. I suffer from complex migraines with auras. Every time I've tried smoking (weed, I've never smoked a cigarette in my life) it induces a migraine within an hour. The migraines put me out of commission for a day and then the next day I feel like I have a horrible hangover.

It will go faster now. Did you pre wire 120vac yet? If you really want to be hip (which I didn't do - still pissed) you can pre wire XLR & 1/4" Jack plates at strategic locations to avoid cables everywhere. I ended up running some hooks up above door height but still have cables everywhere on the floor.
The temperature isn't expected to break 90-degrees until 9pm when it's too dark to work in that windowless space. The temperature inside the structure is well north of 100-degrees and I have to work in jeans, a long sleeve shirt and long polyethylene gloves... Yeah... Not insulating today. Far too hot for that sort of thing.
