So I'd never been to NAMM before, and once I got there I decided I had to try to collect my photos and thoughts. I started a blog post - it's still a work in progress because I am just exhausted - and my website editor apparently ate some of it - but you can see some commentary and lots of photos thus far! (bandwidth warning)

Click on any of the pics for a larger version. And the pics that appear obscured by a comment, those will pop up big as well when clicked on. I'm still deciding what format to do this whole post in.

Cheers
Dave

Good on you Dave. Several TB'ers asked me to blog about my experiences showing prototype stuff for the first time in a luthier friend's NAMM booth a couple of years ago, but the whole thing was just too overwhelming to let me get to that. Nice pics, and it looks like you had a great time. Best of luck with the whole venture BTW!

Yeah initially I figured I'd have the time and energy to sort of live blog the thing. Bear in mind, I am NOT a blogger as it is - my previous blog entry was in 2017! - but I wanted to try to capture it. And I found that is just not possible; after the first night, I was more and more exhausted by the time I sat down at the keyboard - PLUS the iPad app version of the site editor screwed things up twice. I didn't even finish the post until today, as you see, back at a real computer.

I also realized I didn't get much footage on the Brubaker prototype! I was just so bombarded with other shiny things.

Thanks for the kind words!
