My Peavey Cirrus. (warning, may cause GAS)

:rollno:Hey there my friend,
For a guy who is supposedly "well respected" AND works at a music store, he sounds uninformed, and like a badge buyer. You know, those ******** who drive a piece of crap Mercedes because of the symbol on the hood and the trunk ! Give me a Japanese car ANY day! My point is this : A Cirrus is THE bass to own. I have had dozens of basses over the past 25 years. NONE play AND SOUND like the CIRRUS. It is WAY better than an Alembic Epic (overrated bass !), etc. For LESS money than other basses, you get QUALITY ! The bass player/ employee of Zone Music plays a Cirrus. His buddies play a Cirrus. Kent's son next door at Backstage Guitar/Amp Repair plays a Cirrus. I play a Cirrus. PEAVEY IS NOT A BAD WORD !! Trust YOUR hands and ears, and NOT the "badge buyers". You won't regret it !!!:D:bassist:
I just sold my 4 string G bass today since I don't play it any more and while I was waiting for the guy to come with the $ I tuned up and played a little. It really was a good bass and since I'm in the market for a quality 5 string (I've been playing a Schector and ready to move on) I have considered the Cirrus. My local music store has one but the bass salesman ( a respected local player) seems to turn his nose up at it. He gave me cold feet about spending the $1800.00. I started thinking maybe I should look a little further, like a Stingray. Thoughts?

OK, the Cirrus is the best bass ever made, in my opinion. I've owned Alembics, and other basses. The Cirrus is BEST for funk, slap, and rock. Try This ...Invalid Link Removed
I've been looking into cirrus basses, but the only problem is that I haven't been able to find one to play. I am EXTREMEMLY attracted to the look of the body and all the customizable options. Does anyone have some recordings with it or some audio clips of ay sort?
