My peavey combo 300 is dead

I was jamming with my band when my bass started sounding horrible and I noticed a burn odor coming from my peavey combo 300 amp. I think something might have blew up in there. Now whenever I plug my bass in the amp, the sound is yucky, like really distortionned and choked. The amp really is unusable. Any idea on how to fix it?

Go here and change the first field to "Peavey Service Center."

Sounds like it might be the speaker. I think it has a Black Widow, so you could change the basket.
