Double Bass My perfect upright amp!

Hey all,

just dropping a quick note about how awesome the Phil Jones BG300 is for upright. I got my first chance to really push the setup with a full band at high volume and it sounded amazing. Deep lows and crisp highs. My secret to get the most out of the amp is to pair it with the Tech21 VT Bass DI. Was able to boost the input and really dial the tone. Can’t wait to play more shows, one day...

Phil's amps are all wonderful for upright. I love my BG400 & C4. You might consider Phil's new PE-5 preamp/DI pedal as well.
