Double Bass My Recital

I'm playing my first recital since my undergrad days, almost 40 years ago, on October 15th at All-Newton Music School in Newton, MA. It's part of a series presented to school kids bussed in from Boston, as well as community residents.

Bouree from the 3rd Suite
Sicilienne-Faure
Swan and Elephant
Lt. Kije Romance (from the "pink book")
So What (on bass guitar)
Vocalise
Largo and Allegro from Vivaldi a minor sonata
BB Wolf
Koussevitsky, first mvt

I enjoy reading other people's recital programs, and I encourage others to post theirs.

Sounds like a great program! I especially like the Swan/Elephant combo. And B.B. Wolf is one of my favorites!

I did my last undergrad recital a few months ago, here's the program since you're interested:

Koussevitsky - Chanson Triste, Valse Miniature
David Anderson - Cappricio #2
Anderson - Selections from 7 Double Bass Duets
Bach - Fifth Suite Prelude
Prokofiev - Quintet op 39 - Mvt 1, 2, 5, 6
Bottesini - Concerto #1 F#min - 1st mvt
