My set up. Tips?

hmm, thats a pretty basic setup, the only real tip I could give you that would make a big difference is get some more gear!

so you are using the gearbox just to sculpt your bass signal a bit then? You know its a recording interface I guess? the best thing to do would be to just plug bass into that, plug that into your computer.

if you are dead set on using your usb mic then I would advise getting close to the pa speaker with it, pointing directly into the speaker cone in the middle or just to the edge. by close i mean 2 or so inches away from the speaker grill.

to be honest man, you are not likely to get that good results, what do you need the recordings for? if its just for practice then your setup would sound ok for listening back to what you have played, but if its for a recording you are probably best off just going direct to computer via the gearbox.

Oh no, sorry for confusing you. This is for my guitarist. I am recording him. And it came out decent. CHeck it out at Link Removed . I ran gearbox through the PA then mic'd it into my laptop.Copied and pasted a bunch of tracks and panned them, and it came out semi-decent.
