Interesting! Nice body shape (looks light!), and I like the idea of a one piece guard. Nice color too.

Shuker Guitars are made by a very nice Englishman called Jon Shuker. Check out his site shukerguitars.co.uk theres some very nice instruments on there.

I believe your right about the bridge pick up and it sounds just right with a nice growl and awesome slap tone. I've recently fitted an East J-Retro which is a fantastic bit of kit.
