Hey guys I'm working on a bass to test out my DIY skillz!

Parts/ to do list:
Squier Jaguar SS bass [check]
Babicz 4 string black bridge [check]
Tele deluxe knobs [check]
Refinish (yellow) [in progress]
New pick ups (Seymour Duncan or Lace Aluma possibly ?)
Custom wiring ideas ??? (3 way switch selector ? split cild for p-bass pick up ?? )
Currently the bass is being stripped down form its polyester paint and im looking into new pickups but im unsure as what to get since i usually dont like P-basses. i'm more of a jazz bass kinda guy. Can i get any help or suggestion on pick ups ?
I'm not very good at describing sound so here is some examples of the tone/sound that i'm looking for:
