Mysterious microphone

Hi guys! Long time stalker, first time poster, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong sub forum. If so, let me know, and I'll fix it.


The case: One of the guitarists in my band found an old bullet microphone of some sort, and we're currently trying to find out something about it. (And especially the type of connector needed to use it.)


We've reaches out to everyone we know, and haven't found any information about it, so I turn to the infinite wisdom of my talkbass breathren once again.

I'm sorry for the bad picture, and I'll try to get him to take a better picture. Anyone know anything about this mic?

its a shure 55sh or super55. catch is it the pre-XLR version and they used what is called an amphenol connector. Rapco (or any custom cable manufacturer) is able to make a cable up for you. i have had them do this for me a few time.

Oh, indeed! But one got to do what one got to do. (Set me back And that mic works like a charm now! Managed to find an old cable in a big pile of goodies. It will do for now, while I got a new one in the making.
