Mystery bass ( and all that that implies...!)

Okay,
Happened to spot this gem a month ago on ebay and it went at a great price, but I can't find out any info about it. No builder and only an implication that it has a K&K transducer. Any ideas?

Not a negative thing...I just don't recognize the headstock or features as familiar to any name brand.

I know and I can't actually find out who purchased it on ebay either to get more info. It really is a mystery...I was hoping someone on TB might recognize their handi-work

I think it's home build but very nice and clean one, who ever did it has experience in woodcrafts at least. It needs new strings, though, those are too short.

Did notice that - seems like it needs some extra long scale labella's to properly go through the body...

My first thought after seeing the small pics was that it could be a Wendler. However, after opening the larger pics, the headstock doesn't look quite right.

With out a cutaway deep enough, are you supposed to go into 'thumb' positioning to access the upper register of the FB?

Not bad for a home build, how does it sound?

wish I knew! the back appears to have a cutaway at the heel which could make it easier...

I don't know who ended up purchasing it on Ebay so I can't ask...thought person may be floating around here on TB, as well...
